I am not much of a review person but this place deserved all the reviews possible. Looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of a city, this place is a paradise. Hidden away in the mountains still only 15 mins drive from Manizales. Service is out do the world, The owners and the staff went above and beyond. It’s either the culture of Colombia or we have just been purely lucky. Colombian are just very friendly people and service everywhere is just not what we can even think of in the West. This place grows its own veggies, we even visited the animal shelter they have, my kids learnt to milk the cow, pick up eggs, feed the sheep and goat and lot more. They also have an amazing swimming pool and jacuzzi. They took us on a tour of the coffee fields, even showed us the coffee packing facilities. This place is also connected a restaurant a few yards away, getting to the restaurant is an experience by itself thru the plants and bridges that are over a small stream of water flowing down hill. A must visit. I am coming back for sure.

With mountain views, Hacienda Guayabal is situated in Chinchiná and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We had a wonderful time at Hacienda Guayabal thanks to the owners and staff who went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. The hacienda, the personal atmosphere and the helpfulness were exceptional. The coffee tour we did was also exceptionally good and informative.

We are a couple and traveling Columbia for six weeks now; this is by far the best accomodation we've had! Majid the owner is unbelievably helpful, the view is stunning, the cabins are clean and beautiful, bathrooms great. And the vegetarian dinner (32k COP) is delicious.
