The lodge was perfect and cosy. Everything worked. Rooms were clean. The guides were so so good and peofessional. They were always as exited as we were when we saw animal and they always wanted to give us good experience. The food was also very very good. We felt ourselfs very comfortable and welcome all the time.

I had the most wonderful 3 night stay at iMbamuweti cottage! The cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything I could possibly need as I was self-catering. The location was perfect—peaceful, idyllic and wildlife walking literally outside the fence. As hosts, Mike and Laura were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. The attention to detail was evident throughout the cottage and I especially loved relaxing in the private garden next to the splash pool. The cottage was cleaned daily, and a fire made up for me outside each day. Game drives were organised through the main lodge and I did two of these in the afternoons and had incredible sightings with very experienced and knowledgeable guides. I will definitely return and stay for longer next time. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

The whole experience was magical, and one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We were blown away by the efforts made by Danielle in hosting us, from the amazing home cooked food in such a beautiful setting to making sure we had clean rooms, new towels, and made beds to return to every morning. As for the safari, it is difficult to find the words to describe how amazing this was. We really appreciated JP sharing his experiences and knowledge of the animals and his patience in answering our many questions. There is nothing like seeing an elephant with its baby walk right past you or a lion so full after a kill that it can barely move. In the end, we saw zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, impala, rare wild dogs, and many other animals and birds. We already miss our coffee by the river as the sun comes up...it was perfect in every way.

Absolutely incredible! We enjoyed every single minute to the fullest. Our hosts, Peter and his daughter, were unbelievably kind and helpful – nothing was ever a problem! The accommodation is brand new, modern, well-maintained, and spotless. The entire property is clean and beautifully kept. The ladies in the kitchen were an absolute dream – I felt like a princess! The food and service were fantastic. But the best part was the evening conversations around the campfire – truly unforgettable. I was genuinely sad to leave the lodge. Phomola Manor is an oasis in Greater Kruger with a stunning garden of succulents greeting you as you approach the house. The property is frequented by a spectacular range of birds from iridescent sun birds to a number of owls spotted from the comfort of the garden during our stay. Lindie is a fabulous host who has gone to great effort to furnish the manor with everything we could possibly need for and more. She kindly arranged a wonderful meal on our first night on request. We had some wonderful game drives in Grietjie with very experienced and knowledgeable guides organised by Lindie. We also did a day trip into Kruger which was very easy to do. The highlight during our stay was going on a bush walk with Eugene. His infectious enthusiasm and abundant knowledge were so informative. Approaching a pride of lions on foot and a safe close encounter with elephants got our hearts beating and created life long memories.

Bushveld Bivouac Private Camp is set in Mica and has a pool with a view and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.
