Great place! We stayed there for two nights and it was amazing. The lodge is beautiful and the staff is superfriendly. They even preheated our beds with hot water bottles. Really nice lodge and very close to Rushaga entrance, we would stay there anytime again.

Beautiful location, and our room was excellent - nicely decorated very private, with a stunning view. The food was very well prepared, and the staff all very friendly and helpful. Our server, Blair, was really professional, and lovely.

The guesthouse is on the outskirts of Kisoro and is set amidst a beautiful garden. The rooms are comfortable and have all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast (and in fact all the food we tried) complete with home-made bread, cakes and pastries is delicious. And Joseph is an amazing host - friendly, attentive and very flexible. Highly recommended!

Great lodge with the most amazing view of the forest! It’s located in a very quiet and peaceful area but it is easy to get there from Buhoma and Ruhija. Nelly and her staff are amazing and you always feel like home. I look forward to coming back.

Cylia and all the staff were fantastic and made sure we didn't miss anything! We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. It‘s an amazing place in Kisoro. It’s clean, big and cozy. The staff and the manager Ivan are incredible friendly and helpful. He took us for a walk through the authentic Kisoro and showed us the best sunset-viewpoint. He helped us planning all our activities in Uganda and we booked our Gorilla trekking experience with them. We can highly recommend to do this as well. We would stay there anytime again!

Wilfried and his family are absolute gems. We had the best stay there, loved sharing our meals with the family and getting to know more about the region through the eyes of a local. Wilfried also helped us organise a day trip to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for my partner’s birthday gift. It was certainly a highlight of our time in Africa. The views from the bedroom were stunning, we spent some time on the balcony just reading and watching the lake. The sunset was beautiful. The cooking was all homemade and delicious with a mix of local recipes and international recipes. The shower was hot and had excellent water pressure.
