Great place! We stayed there for two nights and it was amazing. The lodge is beautiful and the staff is superfriendly. They even preheated our beds with hot water bottles. Really nice lodge and very close to Rushaga entrance, we would stay there anytime again.

We had a wonderful stay at Mianzi Guest House, the rooms were simple but spacious and clean, the common area was very nice to sit in, the breakfast and dinner were fantastic. But what really stood out was the staff, Emma and his team really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay, they provided everything we needed, even joined us on our tours. We planned to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 5, i think thats telling enough how good it was :) Oh and the view of the Volcanoes in the morning is absolutely incredible!

I rarely give such a high evaluation but this lodge and the staff absolutely deserve it! - complete organization of permits and transport - very delicious breakfast and dinner - awesome service from super friendly staff, they even cleaned our shoes after the trekking and were attentive all the time - very clean and well equipped rooms - there is everything you need I highly recommend this lodge to everybody who search comfort after returning from the gorilla trekking in Bwindi. This place is magic !

Cylia and all the staff were fantastic and made sure we didn't miss anything! We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. Wilfried and his family are absolute gems. We had the best stay there, loved sharing our meals with the family and getting to know more about the region through the eyes of a local. Wilfried also helped us organise a day trip to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for my partner’s birthday gift. It was certainly a highlight of our time in Africa. The views from the bedroom were stunning, we spent some time on the balcony just reading and watching the lake. The sunset was beautiful. The cooking was all homemade and delicious with a mix of local recipes and international recipes. The shower was hot and had excellent water pressure.

This was my second stay and Gideon and Esther were as warm and welcoming as ever. The rooms are small but neat, tidy and clean and include an ample breakfast. They will also cook other meals if needed. It’s a convenient location, walking distance from the town centre. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel like you’re part of the family.
