This will always be my vacation home from Dubai. I would love to thank the host #keith was very kind, honest and so down to earth. I literally asked for late checkout to 4pm, And he was so flexible. Every thing is perfect Everything was excellent and the host was very excellent and his treatment was sophisticated and responsive in anything we needed. It was a wonderful experience. I advise anyone with a family traveling to Kampala to stay in this area. The location overlooks the lake from the sixth floor, Apartment 45. A wonderful experience. The location is safe for families and children and there are guards all day long and all the staff are friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 256, The location was perfect! easy access to town and to the airport. It is located within a gated community, providing security and peace of mind. Our room had a lovely view of the lake, which was nice to wake up to. We enjoyed a well prepared breakfast and a delicious dinner of Ugandan local cuisine. Our rooms were very comfortable, well decorated, and had all the room amenities required. Toni and Esther, the hotel staff, were very attentive and always on hand to offer any assistance or information. Every area of the hotel has been well designed and is extremely inviting.
