This is an authentic house with a large terrace and a stunning view of the ocean and São Jorge Island – a perfect place to stay and enjoy peaceful evenings after busy days exploring the island. This family run place was a dream - we were 6 friends staying in a 3 bedroom studio apartment. It was large, comfortable, clean and the beds were super comfy. We were annoying guests who arrived a bit earlier than expected while the apartment was still being cleaned but they were so accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay in your great place

We had a great stay at Lava Homes. The house was lovely and the fireplace made it easy to keep things warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the beautiful view from the restaurant during breakfast. The team was very kind and welcoming.

Amazing brand new place, designed with care and attention to detail at a peaceful location near natural pools and hiking routes. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, giving us tips for multiple activities around the island and making sure we have everything we need during our stay. Highly recommended, really great value for the price. We'd love to come back and stay longer.

We stayed 4 nights in this really wonderful house and enjoyed everything. The sea view is marvellous, actually breathtaking and the interior of the house is arranged with great taste. Huge spacious living room with kitchen. Almost no traffic on the road, - we enjoyed the quietness. A real gem on Pico Island. The host was very helpful in every way and we would definitively like to stay there again.
