The location was perfect for the people who came to visit the turtle reserve. I love everything about it. The space, affordability, and cleanliness. It was more than what we expected! After a long drive to Sur and a long walk to see the turtles, it would be nice to get the best rest you can have. The following day we got energized to even consider on going for another long drive.

It was a wholesome experience, you couldn't ask for more. It' has a huge space for families with comfortable and relaxing place. Excellent escape from city life,serene and rejuvenating. The view from the balcony of our tent (25) exceeded expectations. The tents were spacious, clean and had flushing loos. Guided trips were well organised with knowledgeable and respectful guides. The evening meal was very good.

Room is very spacious, clean and fresh. Salem is such a hospitable owner - he also makes boat trips (amazing ones, we’ve seen dolphins and turtles) and he treated us to fruits and tea upon arrival. He also helped us after check-our when we got stuck in the sand 🙈 so grateful Breakfast was rich and tasty. Don’t hesitate to speak with other guests, Salem attracts interesting people to this place :)

Sometimes the most difficult places to reach are the best. At the end of an abandoned runway lies a great guesthouse where the hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home. It is located near the beach where fishermen bring their catch to shore. If you so wish the owner will barbeque these fish for dinner for you. You can choose to relax in the Bedouin tent next to the guest house or take the half hour drive to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. And don’t be surprised if you spot a baby turtle near the guesthouse who took the wrong turn at the beach. In every way a great place to stay.

Rashid was an excellent host! We had a delicious dinner (fresh fish and chicken) and also got to see turtles and did a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! The house is very clean and big comfortable rooms. Everything was excellent!

We (4 adults, 4 kids) stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, it was amazing! The owner and his team were super friendly and took great care of us. They made us breakfast every morning and were really flexible with the timing — even when we asked for it at 6 am before our hike, it was ready right on time! Dinner was also great — they made sure it suited ours and the kids taste, and the portions were super generous. The owner even helped us arrange a dolphin-watching boat trip, which ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. Everything about this place felt great, relaxed, and well taken care of. Highly recommend staying here — you’ll enjoy the Omani hospitality.
