Very comfortable and clean apartment. Perfect stay for one night on the way to Wellington. The late check in was advantegeous for us, as after a long hiking day, we arrived just before 9 PM.

With garden views, River Valley Lodge is located in Taihape and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

The breakfast was good and service was excellent. The accommodation was comfortable and we loved the farm animals and maze. We stayed in one of the huts which had an outdoor deck which was perfect for a glass of wine and the shared kitchen had everything needed.

Absalutly idyllic chalet, super cosy, and had everything we needed, plus more! We had the fire on most of the time with it being winter. It gave a super cosy feel. The beds were super comfy. It's just a really well furbished and comfortable stay!!!
