Stunning location and exceptional staff. Had problem with car and Zaki went out of his way to help in getting it fixed and even invited me for tea in his grandmother's home. He also has excellent English which was nice as we do not speak French. Excellent food and music and highly recommended. DAVEY AND NOREEN FROM IRELAND.

Hmed, the owner, is a super friendly and helpfull man and he runs a top class guesthouse Normally I never stays the same hotel twice. But I had to go back for the balcony view, the yummi food, dinner is a three course menu, and the beatiful palmeraie My walk too Todra Gorge was on small dirt paths, passing so many palmthrees, nice people working in the fields and some derserted kasbahs. Staying at this hotel was an unforgettable experience—easily one of the best in Morocco! The staff welcomed us with genuine warmth from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to make our trip exceptional. Their kindness and attentiveness helped us plan our itinerary seamlessly, ensuring we enjoyed every moment. The hotel itself exceeded all my expectations—beautifully maintained, comfortable, and full of authentic charm. They have also a restaurant, and the food was simply outstanding and very cheap! Every dish offers a true taste of Moroccan cuisine. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a perfect stay, this is it!

Beautiful house with an amazing view on the mountains, the luscious valley and the gardens. The host, Ismael, was friendly and super helpful. He spent a whole day helping us because we had a car problem, thanks again 🙏. The food was delicious and plentiful.

    We had a really wonderful stay and everything was perfect. The staff were so warm and kind, going above and beyond to welcome us into their home. The food was delicious and the location on the palmeraie was stunning. Jacque the donkey was great fun for the kids. I honestly couldn’t recommend this property more!

    Loved the local musicians who came to entertain us. Fabulous fun. Made it a memorable experience in spite of it not being luxuriously comfortable! The breakfast was good. Excellent value for money, very inexpensive at 33 euros for one night for a family of 3. Great location, nice friendly family atmosphere.

    Maison Retour aux Calme is a beautiful place to come at peace and relax in the many wonderful common room, gardens, patios, balconies or your own room, which is perfect and has all you need. The prepared meals are fabulous, and the staff is super. The palmeries and todra gorge are amazing. Our kids loved the place, especially the staff, the cats and the trampoline, and thought it was the most fun 'holiday house' they visited in Morocco.

    The location and views from the hotel are superb. It's really close to the gorge as well! Very family friendly! Our kids became friends with the owner's kids and in the end almost didn't want to leave. :) We really enjoyed our stay.
