Great host and great location for the waterfalls trek in Setti Fatma. The house is clean and comfy and they offer a very tasty meal. We arrived mid afternoon and we were able to have a sandwich. We really appreciated it! Best value for money in Ourika Valley.

I liked the fact that this accomodation is situated in the heart of village where you can be surrounded by simple life of the countryside, like when you wake up in the morning you can see men and women going to do their daily tasks of herding sheeps and cows down the river which is 10 mins walk from the site, plus Abdletif the guy will keep a company with you and he will catter for all your needs, he can help set up activities like hiking the mountains nearby with local guides, or prepare for you delecious meals, or even organize for you transportation, for me I had a car and Abelltif helps me to park it a little further from the accomodation, but it was a secure place. Overall, Tacheddirt is a warm place with its dwellers and it is always a pleasure to be in this majestic high Atlas village which is more like a second home to me now. Tanmirt ayt tamazirt.

Hassen and his family is so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend to stay in here, the view is breathtaking!! I can stay in the rooftop for a whole day without doing anything! I love this place so much, would definitely come back again in the future!! Btw the breakfast is super delicious too 😋

Everything. This Gîte looks out over the whole valley so the views from the terrace are amazing. We got spectacular sunrises and sunsets each day we were there. The location was perfectly situated for our day hikes up to each pass. The hiking was UNREAL - the views were incredible and gave us good variety of the mountains, the villages, the terrain, and the wildlife. Ibrahim and his family were so welcoming and accommodating. He prepared breakfast, tea, and dinner each day based on our daily schedule and incorporated local Amazigh foods for us to try. He made us a fire each night and when he noticed we were chilly while reading, brought us blankets. He also gave us route recommendations. The bed was so comfortable, we slept better than we have on our whole trip. 11/10 would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at this stunning hotel during our trip across Morocco. The staff were very friendly and so were the owners. They went out of their way to help us out with our transport back to Marrakesh. I would just advice anyone planning to stay at this hotel to ensure to book a rent a car as there are no shuttle services to Oukaimeden or Ourika valley from the hotel and arranging a taxi could be difficult. We did not realize this until we arrived here. All in all, this is a beautiful place if you are looking for a nice relaxing few days off away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities and work life. Would 100% recommend and would definitely visit again!

I mistakenly booked the wrong dates for this accommodation. A refund was not possible, but our host offered us the dates we wanted to stay at no extra charge. He was true to his word! Oukaimeden is a beautiful place. Our host, Rachid, was exceptionally helpful during our short stay. The Gite was basic, but comfortable, and had better WiFi than anywhere we stayed in Morocco this year. Breakfast was good, and Rachid has a small restaurant a few minutes walk away from the Gite where a lovely tagine for dinner is available.

I can't remember the guy's name but he was super accommodating. We left our bags so we could climb Toubkal, he even offered us a shower on our return. Highly recommend.
