The stuff is super friendly, helped me moved my luggage into my room before my arrival (I posted my luggage to the hotel advance) and after I told them I need go post it back they prepared everything for us. The breakfast is superb very delicious for both western and Japanese style. Very authentic Japanese food experience with private hot bath in the room.

The staff was so kind and helpful, and helped us call a taxi and guided us to walk to the correct place to take it. The location is excellent, allowing us to enjoy Gion district in the early morning and late night.

The on balcony onsen was amazing. As a couple with tattoos we couldn't use the main baths but this was perfect. Used it in the evening after dinner and then again in the morning watching the sun come up. The room was large and comfortable. The food was excellent.
