Wonderful stay host was so kind picking us up and taking us to local museum.Breakfast was large and delicious.Great night's sleep on really comfortable beds or you can choose a traditional Japanese guest room.We had a few sleepless nights in Tokyo so didn't try.Mashiko is a perfect location for pottery enthusiasts. There was so much to see.

Only in Japan could you find such a lovely hotel on a freeway. Similar to other Fairfield Hotels I’ve stayed in the US in terms of rooms/layout but this one was much more loved. Pristine condition, spotlessly clean, lovely common areas (with microwave, oven, coffee etc - great for families). The staff were beyond helpful and attentive. I stayed there to travel to Mashiko which was a disappointment but this hotel was a lovely bonus.

The house was super new and ridiculously clean! I've stayed in a lot of places and this place wins them all hands down. Everything u need is prepared and the house smells fantastic all the time. You can even charge your phone straight from the port in the bed head.

The breakfast was amazing. Coffee was good! The location was pastoral and it is great that bikes are available to use. Our host was exceptional; an excellent tour guide and offered a ride to and from the bus station. Beds were super comfortable and the Japanese bath was fun to try.
