We spent 2 nights there and it was perfect. Very centrally located, close to a JR line and juste 15min walk from the castle. Our hosts were very nice and helpful making our way around the city and surroundings and good recommendations for food as well :) We would stay again here without any doubt shall we return to Himeji :)

The house was new, modern and super clean, with lots of natural light. it was perfect for a family of 4. The pproperty had everything yiu could possibly need. it was a 15 minute walk from Himeji station and very convenient to all attractions.

My wife and I were dealing with a heavy family loss and our hostess and the overall experience at this Bettei made the loss much easier to cope with. I could not have asked for a better experience. In addition, the unexpected connection to Himeji Castle greatly increased my appreciation for my visit to the ancient fortress.

The hotel is located in the heart of the tourist area, which is anywhere from the JR Shinkansen station to Himeji Castle. 10 minutes walk from the station, 15 minutes walk to Himeji Castle, surrounded by yokocho (shopping streets). Honestly splendid stay. Spacious rooms, soft beds and linnen, very clean, great Onsen. Location literally next to the station so perfect for a one night stay in Himeji like we did. Breakfast was a bit overrated based on other reviews I saw but there is endless choices for every culture. It closes at 9:30 already which is early. Nonetheless you’ll have a very pleasant stay!
