Helga and Rugar were absolutely nice and friendly hosts! We decided to take one of the lovely cabins and have breakfast there. We were eating it in their living room and had a lot of fun and interesting conversation with them about living in iceland. We became many useful hints for visiting the town and pur further trip. Whenever we come back to iceland, we will return to Herring House.

Very nice renovation of an old property, all very tastefully done with old funky furnishings and prints on wall in downstairs lounges. Nice bar area and lovely large restaurant with beautiful Morrocan food, which was a nice change after a week of Icelandic food. The staff were extremely helpful and obliging
