Great, modern and comfortable hotel. Room was big, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! View from the hotel (front side) is beautiful. This location is great for exploring the north part of Iceland, around Myvatn lake and part of east part of the island.

Lovely staff and room. Really liked the touch of putting your name on a list on check-in to have a wake up call when the northern lights were active. Amazing views of the northern lights and very good value for money. Breakfast was lovely, great variety, something for everyone.

Excellent room, comfortable bed, clean and quiet. Auroras seen just outside the room if weather allows!! Breakfast is excellent, with many cheese variety and local quality food. Restaurant menu for dinner is also very good. We enjoyed a lot our stay here.

The breakfast was amazing, every detail, you could see that it was made with love and care. They had gluten free options for me, several, which I really appreciate. It was a high quality meal and we even the opportunity to take a sandwich with us! They also let us visit the farm, it is just on the side of the craters, nice spot to see the northern lights. The kitchen was big and was well equipped.

Perhaps the only lake front property one can find. It has its own petrol station! Great dinner menu. Hot bath and steam room. Excellent breakfast and very friendly bartender.

The place is charming and we loved the decorations and the write ups and all the little special touches. It is conveniently located to all that we wanted to see and do.

We stayed 2 nights. Room was clean and cozy, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Location was good, overall place was quiet, although 100 meters away there was hostel, which didn't bother us. There were bunch of mosquitos or something like that next to Myvatn lake, but there were none near cottage, which is huge plus. Will stay again

Fantastic modern cabin, cosy, great location, fantastic breakfast, highly recommend. Loved the outlook onto the lava field, on the lake circuit and close to many attractions in the area.
