Simple and neat two bedroom cottage with a kitchen where we stayed. Was spotlessly clean, very good toilets and beautiful surroundings. The adjacent tree houses also seemed quite nice. Enjoyed walking through the paddy fields, to the nearby temple, cycling around, playing carroms and just relaxing. It was away from the main road, so very silent. The grounds of the property were also very well kept. Mr. Vijay, the caretaker, was able to cater to all our requirements. The breakfast was simple but very tasty and more than adequate. Had a most enjoyable stay on the whole

Palakkad doesn't have too many hotel options so this has to be your best choice. It's a newer property so everything works and feels fresh. The location is in the heart of it all (though a few km away from the railway junction as that was not built in the center) and the Fort is a short walk away. It's only a few minutes walk to the main bus station where you can easily catch a bus for the Malampuzha Dam area. The room was super clean and I loved the ceiling design. The included breakfast was your typical Indian fare and it's in a very nice room.

Great location, beautiful river view, quiet and calm, those who love to spend peacefully this hotel is their choice .. we spend one night had a wonderful time in this property, staffs are kind and supportive, pleasing. No inhouse restaurant, but their own restaurant is just nearby, if you order from room, it hardly reach by 15-20 min . Overall, its pleasant stay for us.
