My stay at SpiceBuds FarmStay in Ramakkalmedu was an unforgettable blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, nestled within a serene 5-acre spice plantation in Koottar. The beautifully renovated heritage rock house, particularly the spacious and spotless Cardamom Suite, offered a cozy retreat with plantation-themed decor and a private veranda perfect for soaking in the lush greenery and birdsong. Jobins, the owner, and caretaker provided exceptional hospitality, tailoring delicious vegetarian meals to our preferences and guiding us on a delightful plantation walk to the watchtower, showcasing cardamom, pepper, and clove cultivation. Jobins dad visited us in the morning and even gave us a Cardomom plant to take home With amenities like free Wi-Fi, a cozy campfire, a treehouse, and proximity to attractions like Ramakkalmedu Viewpoint, this tranquil haven is a must-visit for families and nature lovers seeking an authentic Kerala experience

Peaceful location Lovely terrace and pool Spacious apartment with huge kitchen to prepare our own meals Unfortunately we speak little malayalam and the manager and owner little English but the owners son translated via WhatsApp messages which worked very well .Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we felt so welcome. Lovely local breakfast brought to us each morning

Fabulous location and lovely comfortable service. Good resort. Staffs are very friendly and polite, Renju, Dipin and Arvind😇 extraordinary services. Good quality of food. Kids enjoyed a lot in their play area. Neat and clean. Staff here are very good and cooperative. House keeping staff really good. They have all the facilities and I strongly recommend to stay for families. Stayed couple of nights in superior suite room. Availed Breakfast , lunch and Dinner plan. Food was good with handful of varieties. The property is located just 27kms from Cumbum and you can have evening and morning walk around the property. The new night was awesome with fun filled events like Firecamp, BBQ, Picnic Area, Children's playing Area, Misty property and the entire night was literally a party night. The food also very good but price is slightly high, But was a decent menu there as well. The pavilion space and the restrooms near to that were at a different level. So tidy the place was beautiful. The owner of the hotel is a little bit stingy. Other then the parking, lift, hot water ete.every thing is fine. Please visit and enjoy the location and hotel room. But no bar and restaurant in the hotel.
