The Trident Bhubaneswar is a beautifully designed hotel set in lush gardens. it is peaceful and comfortable All of the staff were friendly and helpful but Rahul in the restaurant gave exceptional service.

I hesitate to write about this homestay because this is one of the best homestays I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. As soon as you arrive, you are warmly welcomed by Sujit Sir and Etti Ma'am into their beautiful home. The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. The amount of space you get for what you pay is really amazing, much more than a hotel room. Breakfast everyday was so delicious and varied, and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff are so kind and very attentive, they are there to help at a moment's notice. The place is close to an elephant sanctuary, so the surrounding environment is very peaceful and relaxing. Also, quite hours are between 10 pm to 6 am, so it is perfect for resting well after a long day. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come to Bhubaneshwar. ⁹⁹

Mayfair Convention is, as you could guess from the name, mainly used for conventions and meeting rooms. Only the top floor has guest rooms. So it is smaller than you might think from the pictures in terms of guest numbers. The great thing is that its sister hotel over the road has everything you would expect in a top class hotel including many great restaurants, bars, etc which you can use as a guest at Mayfair Convention... but your room costs much less than those over the road. If you are travelling to see the old part of town/temples, it is a fair distance away but transport is very affordable. The team at the hotel are incredibly welcoming and arranged transport and tours for us to Cuttack, Konark and beyond. Thanks so much to everyone at the hotel, especially Jagdish on the front desk!

Lemon tree is my family's favorite. Bhubaneshwar stay wasnt in my itinerary, however, when we were very tired and didnt want to travel long distance to Chilika, we decided to stay put in Bhubaneshwar for the night. Lemon Tree was the first most preferred choice (having stayed at Jaipur and Ahmedabad). Its specially loved by my 12 year old niece, she likes the smell she says :). After a tiring day, we enjoyed good sleep in fresh room in mint condition. Loved the food and room service.
