It is a nice quiet place with a lot of greenery. the rooms are clean and spacious with a little sit out under the trees to enjoy a cup of tea. The staff are very polite and helpful. Safe place with security which is great if you are travelling with family including kids running around.

It was a very good property at very reasonable cost. Great for a group of friends or even couples. Loved it, and the location is also not far from very exotic beaches. :)

I have to review Maison Perumal for the wonderful experience we had, we stayed 6 nights. It is a haven in the old Tamil quarter, but easily to walk to the beachfront and White town. Food is lovingly prepared. Great Bfast, juices, eggs, dosas, idlis, pastries and fruit, and great coffee. The building is 150yrs old and has been beautifully restored, plants surround you, everything is made with wood and local materials, and my first time staying in a hotel where there is no plastic. The bed and room was beautiful, everything so clean. The staff are so friendly and professional we did not want for anything. Thank you Barti, Jayson,Elby, Sami Sunil and all the staff.
