Very homey. Comfortable. Was done up for Christmas which was very nice. Gave a nice warm touch. Had a coffee machine and pods,which was very nice. Kids really enjoyed it. Plenty of bedding and towels. There was 5 of us staying and there was plenty of room for us and probably 2 more. The woman was very helpful when our car wouldn't start also. Very nice people. Thank you Martin for making our stay comfortable.

The accommodation was excellent, breakfast was first class and all staff were friendly and very helpful. The scenery round the hotel was spectacular

The location was super albeit up a very narrow, bendy lane. It's in the countryside, yet only about a ten minute walk to Spiddal and less to the beach. Ideal location for exploring West Galway. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of towels and hot water available. Our dog was made very welcome, too.🥰

We stayed at The Waters Country House during our trip through the Irish countryside and it was like stepping into a fairytale. The house is absolutely stunning—full of charm and character. Our host, Wolfgang, was very kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful setting with unique furniture and warm lighting, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We also recommend booking a table at Monks restaurant nearby—local taxi drivers make it easy to get there without a car. A very special place we’d love to return to!

Very special place surrounded by hills and 5 minutes from the beach in Fanore. It was cozy, clean and had everything that we needed. Very quiet, perfect for a getaway in the Burren. The fire was on for our arrival, such a nice gesture. This was my second stay there, and I hope to be back. Thanks so much!

The husband and wife team exuded warmth, kindness, and a genuine passion for ensuring their guests have an unforgettable experience. We had such lovely chats we Amy and Paul and learnt so much about their and the bnbs background. They were always on hand to offer helpful advice, recommend hidden gems, and share fascinating stories about Galway. One of the cutest little hotels I’ve stayed in. Amazing staff, delicious breakfast, lovely room.

Accommodations were fabulous! Staff was fabulous and took pride in their work and facility. Attention to detail in the dining room was outstanding! Highly recommend Hazelwood Lodge!
