The Carrick Gate is just an all round great place. Located on the river right in town. So clean, newly refurbished, comfortable and excellent Continental breakfast with loads of choices. We were the only ones there being winter so it was lovely and quiet. We booked late and had a bit of delay making phone contact for the key, but that was fixed up quickly for us. Great location close to the village of Kilcar. Close to the magnificent Atlantic sea and Slive Leig cliffs , You get a house in the country side , yes a whole house complete with a new kitchen. Quiet, I had the best nights sleep in months. Krista and Stephen are a lovely couple.
