AustraliaThe host is an excellent communicator and incredibly helpful prior to and during our stay. We were given guidance and help with transfers and local tours. We took a bird tour to Malagufuk organised by our host at Baronda which was great. Our host helped me organise a meeting with a local conservation agency. Our visit coincided with that from the host’s family and we were invited to join for lunch which was very special and super tasty. The property is a bit out of town but it wasn’t a problem for us as we used Grab taxis and that worked well. Also the local buses are happy to pick you up so easy to get across town if needed.

Husna and her family are the most helpful and kind people. You will spend a good stay in their homestay, and eat the best food you can eat in Sorong. I recommend 100%, and will come back :)

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food and breakfast are affordable and tasty. The team offer lots of help when needed. We came here on our way out to Raja Ampat and then again on the way back because it was so lovely to stay here.

Delicious breakfast and dinner; friendly owner and family; spacious apartment for one person; hostess did laundry for me! Owner provided restaurant info and communicated with my diving operator for me.

Rina was a lovely and welcoming host. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable and gives you everything you could need for a short lay over in Sorong.
Would definitely stay there again and recommend Rina and her family's home to others.

Rina and her family are adorable and very helpful. The value for money is excellent for Sorong with a breakfast included. The room is simple but functional and clean. The atmosphere is very charming, feel at home. i met great other guests as well, sharing information about Raja Ampat. Will come back! Certainly the best option in Sorong for an afordable welcoming stay.
(PS they do express laundry and can prepare you yummy diner)
