Visited Meganisi from Nidri and decided to spend the night. Since it was end of season the rate was very good and the room amazing - big, bright, quite, huge balcony and lovely view! Super comfy beds, crisp white sheets, good AC, fluffy towels, great bathroom and shower, beautiful private location, the list goes on.... Juliana, who was looking after the place at the time, is a lovely, lively, warmhearted and bubbly soul; really enjoyed chatting with her, and she made me the best latte in the morning. They didn't serve proper breakfast as there were only few guests, but there were many great options in Vathy. The hotel is new and still developing, and Juliana has many excellent ideas of how to make it even nicer. I certainly will be back, hopefully stay a bit longer next time.

Villa Panorama is absolutely fantastic - it looks good in the pictures, but it's actually better in reality. It has everything you might need, a great TV, good wifi, the pool is warm and not too small, the beds are really comfy, there are blackout shutters on the windows if you want them + brand new sliding fly screens on all the doors and windows, and the showers work well. In really hot weather it's a little bit tough walking back up the steep hill, but it really doesn't take very long - you can walk down to restaurants in maybe 7 minutes, and probably more like 15 to walk back up. The locals are all very friendly if you great them with a "Yas-as" as you go by, and it's a quieter and less touristy part of Greece. There's a wonderful and quiet beach about 3 minutes drive (up the hill, turn left, and there's a sign down to it on your left as you get to a right hand bend) - we found that the locals usually started to leave around lunchtime, meaning we got free umbrellas and loads of space, but there are no facilities. Soft sand once you are in the water, and a gentle slope. Asprogiali is further around and has a sign for the beach bar, which was very reasonably priced. The water dropped off quite deep quite quickly though, so not ideal for young kids if it's wavey. Mytikas has a very long beach which is soft sand underfoot once you're in the water, and there is a beach bar there too. Dimitri and Maria are lovely people, always willing to provide help and recommendations via text and phone, in good English. Dimitri will come to the villa very quickly (I mean, 10 minutes) if you have any issues (I managed to get a sink plug stuck and he came and fixed it), which is really impressive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Blue Fish restaurant was our favourite - reasonably priced and very good quality. Alexandra Sweet Art makes the best desserts EVER.

The house was beautiful, an old house completely renovated- large and clean bathrooms, strong a/c, spacious rooms. The outdoor patio was stunning with views of the town.

It was so lovely clean with great outlook It was close to town. But you would still need a car to get around We arrived to find some goodies. Fruit, water, wine etc. A nice surprise

Great location, via a small path you are in the middle of Nydri within 2 walking minutes. The apartment has a good double bed, small kitchen with utensils, and good bathroom. The swimming Pool is great to relax and cool down. Breakfast is very nice; ham, cheese, Juice, cereals, bread, yoghurt, greek pastry, and they even offer to make you a nice omelette or fried eggs. The owner used to have a restaurant, but sold it and built this aparthotel. He's very kind snd hospitable.

We had a very nice stay, the host was excellent.

New, very clean apartments offer everything you need for a pleasant holiday with small children, a bonus is a washing machine, quiet surroundings a short distance from the sea with traditional taverns

If I could describe the Oriens Villa I would choose to say..."So much more then we could even imagine!!!" First the great connection with the owner. Every thing we needed and asked for was at our door in no time! (not that we needed much). The Villa is perfect. Great interior design and has everything in it. The view from the Oriens...OMGGGGGGG! Camera can't really show You what the eyes see from this Villa. No doubt this is the most perfect location in Lefkada! We will definitely recommend Oriens to our friends and family (also here).
