What a lovely place! We loved it so much that we ended up to stay for two weeks 😊 Thanks for the warm, cosy, and welcoming vibe, easy communication with the hosts, so many places to hang out, in and outside the house, the great soundsystem, it was simply just beautiful and made our stay being one of the best we ever had. Not least to mention the amazing view, beautiful sounds of silence, village with excellent restaurants just a short walk away and hanging out in the garden - best thing to pick delicious apricots and cherries from the garden trees! We couldn’t get enough from the beautiful nature either. We’ll come back!

I only had the chance to visit 1 night as I was staying on the island for transit. I’m extremely happy I booked this beautiful place as it was beyond expectations. the owners were extremely friendly and the room was very clean. I definitely want to visit this beautiful island again and for sure I will be staying at Hokkum studios.

Maria made us feel at home. The location of the house is amazing. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was wonderful. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants right in front of the house. It’s in a very central location. You can walk to the sea. The house has everything you need. Since there was a lot of time until our ferry, she was very helpful in letting us extend our check-out time. If I had the chance, I would definitely stay here again.

We booked this accommodation in the mountain area, far away from the beach, hoping to enjoy the nature and relax in a quiet area. As we are going to arrive in Vathi harbor too early in the morning, having check in arrangement at noontime, we had decide to drive around having breakfast under sun rising. Instead, we received a phone call by Mrs Helen, prior to our departure from Piraeus, saying that, it will be not comfortable for us to drive around, as she had already arrange for us, a short stay in their own apartment over our accommodation. By reaching in their own apartment, to sleep for couple hours till our check in time, we found a basket with fresh fruits, full breakfast assortments and shower area !!!! All of them given by her heart, at NO CHARGE !!!! Later on, by getting in our accommodation, we really impressed with high quality of renovation they made. By keeping the major cell of a cottage house, they create an atmospheric very clean accommodation with all necessary modern facilities and customer’s needs. During two weeks of our stay, we had the feeling of living in our own home !! In the village there is also, a traditional tavern to try for. By getting position in the middle of the island, is easy and capable to drive and visit every side of the island. Several villages are very close and even Pythagoreio, one of the most famous seaside village, is only 20 mins driving. Mr. Stelios (Helens husband) was there for any help, explanation, guiding (even to local festivals), and mostly behaving like your longtime friend. Thanks to them and their excellent hospitality, we enjoy our vacation unexpectedly in the best way, through generous people who are respecting the tradition and trying also to maintain happiness. If you are a traveler, go there!!!
