The place is marvellous... in a very beautiful beach, in a lovely nature... we even saw monkeys jumping there as we arrived at the place. The staff was very nice and the food delicious. The owner is a very nice person who always tries to help you and make your stay perfect.

Unbelievable how welcoming this place and the staff were. If you want clean, simple calm and relaxing and good food this is the place to be. There is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, where you are mostly alone, with the exception of a few locals that walk by every now and them. As is in Gambia, they will most definitely talk to you. If you like fishing ask them to arrange a fishing trip and then bring back the catch for BBQ,. Around here there is also a lots of birds to see around this area. Next time in the Gambia I will go straight to Little's place. If they don't have a place for me I will sleep on the beach and go in for Domoda every single meal :)

Great stay. Very tidy and lovely lodge equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom. Also, great staff, they are there when you need anything. Very communicative and friendly. Thank you Sidi, Janko, Dawda... Totally recommend !

The property is located in a total paradise. Right on the beach surrounded by palm trees. Our room was freshly painted and very spacious. We had a lovely sitting area with a couch and a coffee table where we could relax. There were power sockets for U.K., Europe and USB plugs in the room. It had good shower and spacious bathroom. We had a terrace with a sea view. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They cook lovely food and provided breakfast. Make sure you have enough money with you as there is no ATM in the village and the nearest one is faaaaar away. You can get fresh seafood dishes in the property and you can buy soft drinks and water there also. You can walk to the Sanyang village from here, takes a few mins and you can see their fish market and fishermen at work. Our stay was very relaxing, Osman made sure we had everything we needed and also called us taxi when we needed it. We felt very well looked after. We would definitely recommend this property.

My stay at Mangrove exceeded my expectations, I was made to feel very welcome. Thank you to Awa, Pa and the boys who couldn’t do enough for me, I feel they are all my extended family, very sad to leave but I will be back!
