This place should not be missed on your Georgia trip. Situated next to a nice lake (good for birding!), you will stay next to a castle which the owner built himself. The owner is very knowledgeable in Georgian culture and history and happy to tell you things you surely did not know about Georgia before. Not only that: he and his family are also outstanding hosts, happy to share a glass or two (or more!) of delicious self-made wine in a truly unique, artistic, cozy, and fascinating place. Something to be aware of: it is possible you will hear singing party guests in the evening - better grab a glass and join in! Thank you, we will definitely come back!

We had an unforgettable stay at this cottage right on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir. I think it’s the best place for celebration birthday. Spacious rooms, great view from terrace, comfortable barbecue zone. There were enough plates, cups and glasses for company of 14 people. Owner was polite, helpful and friendly. It was our pleasure to sped weekend there!
