The room was stunning, 4 poster bed with green velvet drapes, genuine antique furniture, stunning. The castle is staffed by well trained kind professional staff who go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and happy. The food was lovely and very generous. The location is gorgeous, do be prepared for a longish drive through the hills to get there. ...but we'll worth it.. Can't wait to go back for another visit

What did we like? The short answer is: everything. It's a family run glamping site in the middle of nowhere. The family is very nice and friendly, the site is very well maintained, clean toilets and showers, very good kitchen. Beautiful location!

The room was cozy and the beds were super comfortable. Very clean throughout. The breakfast was great too, probably the best haggis I ever had in my life, and my daughter tells me that the porridge was delicious too!

We were warmly welcomed by host Paul. The room was heated, with all you needed for an overnight or two night stay. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and worth the stay alone. What topped it off was the cute little honesty bakery next door with an array of delicious treats made by Paul. Would definitely return x

Our host was fantastic, we had to leave early in the morning and we were offered freshly baked pastries and a pack lunch to take for the following day!

We loved the cosy feel of the cabin, and it's location was easy to find. The cabin has a rustic vibe and feels very quaint, perfect for a little Christmas getaway. We did go in December so it was freezing, but the heating was well-timed, so it worked out well for us. But if you're someone who feels the cold a lot, bring along some extra blankets and warm socks!
