The cottage has been renovated to an extremely high standard in keeping with the age and past history of the building. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and helpful. The bedroom was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were great facilities. There is a washing machine, microwave, hob, and oven, amongst other things. Parking for one car is right outside the door. The cottage was very cosy while a storm blew outside. A little home from home, this is the perfect setting for a couple to explore this area. We will definitely return.

all v nicely set up, small room but totally functional. Good tea and coffee facilities in the room (ground coffee and cafetiere). Convenient parking right behind the hotel. We also had dinner in the restaurant - excellent! Great pigs in the yard!!! (no joke - they're in an eenclosure right behind the beer garden area. don't worry, no smells at all, just friendly huge pigs).

The place was central and had all facilities we needed for an overnight stay. It was clean and comfortable with towels and toiletries and a great shower. There were some teabags and sachets of milk to make ourselves a drink which was much appreciated. The bed was made up and the sofa bed had bedding available in the cupboard . It would be ideal for a couple or a couple with a child.

The cottage was in a lovely quiet area with walks on the Dales Way only a short walk away. The log burner was a welcome addition on a cold January weekend and was well stocked. Everything was as described and there was even a welcome package including milk. The wine was very welcome after entertaining a 4 year old on the 2 hour journey to the cottage!! I loved listening to the brook that ran alongside the cottage.

We loved the spacious kitchen area with its huge breakfast bar. This was ideal for our family gathering this weekend. The decor is very attractive with its exposed stone walls and themed accessories. The log burner made it feel very cosy. It was immaculately clean. The addition of equipment provided for a dog was really useful.

the staff were so helpful, it was spotlessly clean and the central location was perfect for us. also as a family it was great to all be able to stay together as the kids room had 2x bunk beds! the staff promptly found and returned some missing games and consoles that the kids had left too. we will definitely be returning
