The room was very well appointed, huge and spacious, and the bed was ultra-comfortable. The food was delicious (homemade steak and kidney pie) and the breakfast hot and also delicious. Breakfast was included in the room, which considering the size of the portions is amazing. The staff could not have been more pleasant and welcoming. I was visiting for a funeral, and the wake was at the Plume, so made sense to stay there. A lovely Country Inn feel, but at the same time the rooms were modern; simple but a sense of luxury!
