We wanted a classic old English pub and this was it. Low beams , rickety staircases and a route to our room that we needed satnav to repeat. It was centrally situated in one of the longest and most attractive high streets in the country. The room was perfect with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. We arrived on a Sunday and sadly the dining room was closed but breakfast the next day was a feast. All the staff were lovely.

Jenny & Alan are lovely hosts, friendly & welcoming. Beautiful breakfast room looking out onto the garden. We got to visit the hens who provided our eggs & enjoyed our coffee on the patio. Our room was clean & comfortable. The setting was so peaceful & we enjoyed a nice country walk nearby. Highly recommend!

Everything!!!! It was lovely and clean, Sharon had made sure there were lots of blankets, hot water bottles and much more to make sure we would be warm during the night. The views were beautiful and so peaceful and calm. My favourite feature was the outside shower, looking out at the beautiful views on a cold October evening while in a nice hot shower was lovely. I will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely everything and we had an amazing time. The cottage was stunning and had everything needed. The back garden was absolutely delightful to be in and lovely and quiet with birdlife and all. The place was quiet and super comfortable. Thank you for a great place. Highly recommeded.
