    The owner was very helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough to help. The room was spacious but the tall should mind their heads if they select the family suite. Breakfast was good. Plenty of options. The local area is OK. We ate at the Courthouse which got busy on the Friday evening (no surprise)

    excellent breakfast and they took into account that I was Gluten free. We booked for evening meals each evening because the cook understood what I needed. Good wholesome family cooking. The "locals" were very friendly in the bar which was a bonus!

    Lovely character filled property in a hillside environment, and ample parking. The owners were friendly and accommodating to our particular needs. The rooms were well thought out, very comfortable and the en suite was well appointed and spotless. Our family are happy to recommend Y Fan.

    We went this weekend to celebrate my birthday weekend. This place is absolutely stunning, the safari tent was beautiful, very clean and had plenty of bedding. It was lovely to find an unexpected tray of tea, coffee, Welsh cakes and crisps. This was very welcome as we had forgotten to bring any ourselves! Our kids and our dog absolutely loved it here. Can’t fault it at all!

    Great central location for walking in and around Caerphilly. Spacious light house, well equipped kitchen and great outdoor space with BBQ facilities. David very helpful and responded quickly repairing a small issue with shower. Beds incredibly comfortable. Large Morrisons behind the house (walking distance) perfect for stocking up on essentials. Great few days bringing my elderly father back to reconnect with places and family from his childhood, thank you David 😊
