If you want something special during your wales trip or exploring snowdonia this is the place to be! Room and building with a touch of Downton Abbey and staff is super friendly. Breakfast was excellent and surroundings impressive!

Great place to stay! Very spacious, we had 7 people and never felt like we were in each others way. Bedrooms were all great and would be lovely to sit on the patio if it were sunny. 10 minutes away from the little town of Bala which had plenty of shops, pubs and food to grab. Close to other locations and sights and within walking distance of a few lovely views. Top stay!

This is the second time we've stayed at Snowdonia Cottage (Glyn Mawr).. It is a beautiful cottage in an absolutely stunning and quiet location. If you want total seclusion and tranquillity, this is it. Simon is a great host/owner who is very quick to respond to any requests via the app. Donna, the housekeeper, is lovely, and she works very hard to ensure the property is immaculately kept. The cottage is minimally furnished, but to a very high standard of quality, comfort, and finish... To be honest there isn't anything that could top it; it's near on perfect in our opinion, and we'd return in a heartbeat.

This was our second visit to Hen Ysgubor. The hosts are very helpful and on site if there are any issues. The property is excellent for a restful get away, well furnished and comfortable. Everything you could wish for. We would definately recommend it. Extremely clean and tidy and has stunning views from both the front and back of the property. We will be returning.

The meals for both breakfast and dinner are top notch. We ate breakfast all 4 mornings and the service was friendly and all the servings were perfect. We at dinner one night in the pub and it was very good. Actually my son ordered better than dad..

Incredibly well equipped cosy cottage, in the perfect location. Only a few minutes drive from a beautiful swim in Lake Bala and from many fell runs in the mountains. Lovely morning coffee views from the garden. The sound of the rain is very very calming to hear (if you're lucky enough to have a some heavy rain at night!)
