The welcome was truly excellent. The staff were ALL very friendly, very helpful and excellent service. For example, the receptionist went out of his way to not only supply a well described map and codes for the secure car parking, but also came with me to ensure I'd found the right location and knew how to operate the entry point. AND there was a lift to our room on the 2nd floor - in our experience not many Logis hotels have that facility leading to a well appointed room We were able to eat at the hotel - even though we'd been warned by them that in view of a recent death in the family (Anne's son) they may have to close the restaurant on Saturdays, they had got over the logistical problem, and we had a superb meal. Would definitely return

The gîte looks like a traditional house from the outside, but the rooms are modern and comfortable. Good location for exploring the region. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon when no bars or restaurants were open, and the hosts kindly prepared an excellent charcuterie dish at a fair price. Lovely and welcoming hosts, which made the stay very enjoyable.

The whole feel of the location is perfect, peaceful, serene and relaxing. The host Sarah was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her. The town is within minutes walk along the river and is lovely with plenty of places to eat and drink. The bed was so comfortable I had a great sleep. I am already looking forward to staying again, nothing negative to say.
