The house is truly homely, authentic and perfectly integrated into the surroundings – we felt like part of the local story. The location is excellent, ideal for exploring the island and enjoying the peace and nature. Everything was tidy, warm and comfortable, and the hosts were extremely hospitable and ready to help with advice on excursions and local experiences. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the true atmosphere of the Faroe Islands!

Cozy and convenient. Close to town with varieties and superb klakkur hike nearby. I was travelling from east to west so, perfect for me stay for 3 nights.

Lilia, the hostess received us with open arms and a big heart in a most wonderful homely house in beautiful surroundings. Lilja prepared a great dinner. Perfect cod (I have the recipe!) directly from the sea served with local Faroes potatoes and vegetables. It was rounded off by a rhubarb cake. During the dinner we got to know a lot about the Faroes and we were joined by other tourist with whom we shared our impressions. The rooms were cosy, everything was super clean and tidy. The house cat added to the atmosphere running in and out to the little garden. The breakfast included fresh baked home made bread (also served with dinner) as well as a nice plate with tasty things. Would give Lilia 12 points out of 10 possible!

Everything was perfect, from the information and instructions before arriving to advice whilst staying. The host family are lovely and offer great advice and assistance when required. It was the perfect vacation. The apartment view is amazing, we sat every night with the curtains open and watched the boats coming in and out of Klaksvik. The hot tub was a bonus! Everything we needed was there and high quality which made our stay comfortable. We fully intend to return soon.
