Probably the best hotel quality/price during our trip. Milanca, the owner, is kind and helpful. She makes everything super easy, even we arrived at 3am due to the ferry schedule. The room is very cosy, the bed is comfortable. Everything is super clean.

At the end of my two-week trip to Cap Verde, it was very nice to spend the last night in the upper "captain's" suites of the Yacht Club Sal. I really liked the overall design and the small elements related to yachts. I highly recommend this place. Palmeira is not Santa Maria, but the people are nice, like everywhere in CV. Thanks to Milanca and her lovely hotel employee.

Clean, spacious and organised property. Perfect location to catch even the latest ferries (walking distance to the port). The village is very quiet and charming, local people nice and helpful. The host is a great person, friendly and available. We will come back

We enjoyed very much our stay at Ellen Apartamentos. Our flight was delayed, we landed at 1:00 am and the host came to the location and gave us the key. The location was offering an extremely good value for money. We could communicate with the host in French and English.

We traveled as a family and the apartment was just what we were looking for: comfortable, well-equipped, and peaceful. The location is excellent, very close to the beach, the facilities were above expectations and the pool was great and the security of the place was impeccable. I had the most wonderful experience staying at Sol & Lar No Stress on Ilha do Sal. From the moment i arrived, the hosts made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. They were warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations we had during our stay. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. What really stood out, however, were the extra touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. On the resort Vila Verde theres a restaurant that serves delicious local dishes, and the atmosphere is perfect for a laid-back meal after a day of exploring. If you’re in the mood to cook, the nearby supermarket is just a short walk away, offering a great selection of fresh produce and essentials. One of the best features was the free shuttle bus that takes you to several key spots on the island, including Santa Maria, Praia da Ponte Preta, and Espargos (the capital). It was such a convenient way to explore the island without worrying about transportation. Overall, I can’t recommend Sol & Lar No Stress enough. Whether you're looking to relax or explore, this place has it all—great hosts, convenient amenities, and fantastic shuttle service. Will definitely be back!
