Perfect spot to overnight on the way to Drake and also to explore Sierpe and surroundings. The staff were really kind and helpful. I arrived super late by bus from San Jose and they went to pick me up in Palmar Norte under the rain and brought me to the accommodation. It was a life saver as I was carrying lots of luggage and finding a taxi under the rain at 10pm was not in my plans. The room is simple but very comfortable with everything that you need, and you wake up to the views of the Sierpe river at your doorstep.

after our first night in san José we wanted to find some peace and quiet and wow, this was perfect! wade (the owner) is very friendly and will help you with anything you ask. it was the perfect start to our vacation in Costa rica and I would recommend everyone to stay here!

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. The location, the house itself and the family that runs it. The road to reach it was a bit challenging but once arrived….wow! The garden is amazing! So well maintained and beautifully designed. A river functions as an outdoor swimming pool. Angelika and her team were utterly sweet and generous. We only had 2 days and felt sorry for that. We did a mangrove boat tour and went horse riding. Both great experiences.

Lovely little cabin to myself right on a little stream with so much wildlife to observe while chling out in a hammock on the second story balcony. The family invited me into their home, treated me like part of the family and cooked me 2 amazing meals.

Really authentic location, well equipped house with a great terrace, fridge/freezer, AC, hot water in the shower, washing machine and clothes lines for drying. Everything we needed with two small children. Jorge was also really nice, helped us out and gave good tips for the area - fx Playa Ventanas, that we really enjoyed. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice time at Morpho House. Due to a last minute cancellation, we had to reserve the house on the very day and Valeria was quick to respond. She also sent us all the useful information. Having been welcomed personally on arrival, we also had a personal check out. There is everything you need in the kitchen as well as a pleasant sitting area. Besides, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious. Altogether, a very comfortable house in a quiet area: we would strongly recommend staying there.
