We received a warm welcome from Mario. He was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay - on one occasion he arranged an evening meal reservation for us at Rancho Don Luis (they opened up just to accommodate us and the other couple staying at Amazilia). Our room was an adequate size - the wide bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well (though the water wasn't hot). We made very good use of the lovely pool area. The dining area was great and we enjoyed the breakfasts - the cook was also responsible for cleaning the rooms and the property and she did a great job. Amazilia is ideally located for Parque Nacional Rinco de la Vieja - unfortunately, during our stay, the park was closed due to the excessive rainfall Costa Rica had been having. We ate 3 times at nearby Rancho Los Gavilanes - it has a lovely setting by a river.

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The pool area was well maintained and gardens were well kept. The restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly.

Very good value for dollar. Stayed here 1 night. Kitchen was great. People were friendly, room was clean. Bathroom was clean. And location is so close to bus station. Great spot.

Amazing stay nestled right in busy Liberia. As much as we were right in the main area the inside of the hotel was quiet - it was a mini oasis with huge pool, lots of sun and greens around. The staff was friendly and to the point. Free breakfast was a huge plus. And if you wanted dinner you could walk across the street and there were several nice stores to eat and a grocery store for other needs. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean.

Amazing and very helpful staff, the manager is amazing! Great apartments with great view! Location also very good, 25 minutes from Arenal and 20 minutes from Tiliran. High quality for a very good price and great service.
