This place is absolutely incredible, with a fantastic location offering stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape, including the Turriba Volcano. Mark and Annabelle were outstanding hosts—warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. They made us feel at home right away. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed spending time sharing stories with Mark, Annabelle, and the other guests. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we can’t wait to return!

Imagine driving up and up a mountain to arrive at your own cottage with outstanding views of the clouds, town and distant mountain range (and volcano). It was the perfect farm experience. We were travelling for one month through Costa Rica and this place was simply magical. It was a real local experience, no other tourists around. The Mendez family, especially Ana, offered a great hospitality. The breakfast was delicious. We spent also time at the pool and with the many animals that the farm has to offer. Ana was also teaching me how to cook with woods and fire. The whole area is very peaceful and has a great variety of trees and flowers. From the farm you can see the Turrialba volcano, which was always a stunning view.

We love coming to Casa Turire - whether it's for lunch, overnight, or coffee and the amazing desserts (the Sugar Cane Elado is incredible and an original by the chef!). The building has lots of areas to explore, relax, read from, or work from, and our room had a balcony which was gorgeous in the morning. The grounds are gorgeous with trails and beautiful views. The staff were fantastic, and I booked in for a massage which was heavenly, too.
