Exceptional ! Honestly, this is the BEST all round hotel experience we have had in a long time. Can't fault it. The price is amazing. The hotel is really the level of 4, if not 5 star. Area is super funky. Boutique vintage shops, arty bars and restaurants on side steets nearby and beautiful lake and trees to stroll along...Love the rooms. Loved the roses on our balcony and sweet inside terrace with teapot (see pics) Staff were super ! We could even check in at 10am as our stopover was 6am-1am between fights. It was really awkward timing as we didn't even sleep a night, but they were so accommodating.

Very characterful and friendly hotel. Loved the location in the Hutong, the four restaurants are great, specially the toast for breakfast. The rooms have old charm but are very well maintained and cleaned. The bed was extremely comfortable. And last but not least, the staff was just outstanding.
