Family hotels and homes in Samaipata

The loveliest place I've stayed in the whole of Bolivia! A gorgeous house hotel with the friendly, community vibe of a hostel. It was my birthday one of the days we stayed here, my mum (back in UK) got in touch with the hotel staff and they organised to buy me flowers which was so nice of them. Melissa the lady who runs the place with her husband (from America) had made cupcakes for her son's birthday and gave us some for a snack on our hike when she heard it was my birthday which was super kind ❤️ The buffet breakfast was amazing, fresh made pesto, tomatoes, cheese, eggs, really good wholemeal bread, muesli, fruits, yoghurt, coffee, teas - honestly what more could you want! And a short 10 minute walk down to town. Gorgeous garden, really lovely private rooms. Carlos the manager was fantastic, so hospitable and lovely to chat to. He gave us a lift back down to the bus station at the end of our stay and really made the time there feel like a "bit of home" while we were travelling. I would 1000% recommend !

Everything! The pictures you have in your website doesnt do justice to the property. It is beautiful!! Very well kept and clean with amazing views. The staff is extremely helpful and accomodating. The food amazing - we had all 3 meals. Their cook does a great job in creating delicious dishes that are executed with perfection. We will be coming back for sure!

Beautiful hostel that feels more like a family home. The owner is super nice and friendly, really nice common areas to meet other travellers, huge kitchen to cook, beautiful views out over the valley, lots of walks to do nearby, heaps of games, big garden space to chill out in, super clean and just a really nice vibe. Highly recommend staying here!

> We loved Cafe Jardin - a delicious healthy menu, everything fresh and organic (don‘t get that a lot in Bolivia), including a lovely selection of teas from ingredients of their own gardens, which are impeccably maintained. > The place is very peaceful on the slope of a side valley of Samaipata with green all around. Best view is from the stone throne on top of a rock at the upper end of the property. > On the day of departure you get a bag of fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden to take with you !

Peaceful location with great views. Only a short walk away from the town and all its facilities.
