The location was very nice, the host already knew that we would come and greeted up upon arrival. The dinner that was offered (a la carte) was fantastic and the breakfast plentiful.

A long hard drive up some very steep & winding roads but well worth the effort for the amazing views from its 1800m altitude. The spectacular location was equally matched by the quality of the accommodation, food, & lovely friendly hospitality provided by the family hosts. The landlord was very helpful and friendly. The appartment is close to Lienz and ski centers. It's in a very quiet village, but one shop is close by. The landlord told us about the forest baths, which are included in the price, but we'd have to come back in the summer. 🌞 Because of a mix-up we got an upgrade to a three- bedroom appartment in the same building and it was great! Full of little details, which made our stay very pleasant. The kitchen is fully equipped, even mixer is there! It has a functional fireplace, which adds up to coziness. It was very clean, with clean sheets and towels. The beds are comfortable. We recommend it.

Very tasty breakfast with local products. Great selection of cheeses including honey comb honey. The view is beautiful, from the balcony you can see the lake and the mountains. The cards provided helped us discover the surroundings which are absolutely beautiful.

Hotel Berghof is right next to the Drautal-Berg 9-hole golf course and is run by two enthusiastic Dutch owners.
