It is little oasis, quiet, near the river in the middle of nature. Mira cooked dinner for us with vegetables from her garden and we could raft on the vjosa with a friend of her. We liked the conversations with her. It gave us more insight of the history of Albania.

Best Guest House I have ever been to. Accomodation so clean and cozy. Also bar and lovely breakfast. We stayed because we needed a new tire for the car and the host from guest house sorted it for us within one hour!!! Amazing stay thank you very much!

Serenity Rooms truly lives up to its name! The cleanliness was impeccable—honestly, the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The staff was exceptional, always welcoming and helpful. While the exterior might not immediately impress, don’t let that fool you—inside, this place is a hidden gem with stylish and modern decor that makes for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved verything but to give some more detail. The location is the high ground of the village which affords a fantastic view of the river, mountains, and town below. The air is so fresh and clean and the cicadas in the surrounding trees bring you back to nature. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is done in marble and I love the window with insect screen. As with most bathrooms in Albania, they are considered wet rooms with the shower open. The shower was lovely and hot with a constant temperature. The bed was super comfortable and I am particular with this as I have a difficult back. There is a good TV to watch, however, after a night out and a few Raki drinks, I was soon asleep. The windows are sound proof so it's super silent for a great night's sleep. The hotel is a family-owned enterprise so they all work together to make your stay perfect. Breakfast was €6 and was a traditional Albanian breakfast. My husband loved the Khorba which is a bread soup. Served with homemade yogurt and good coffee. We enjoyed our first night with dinner on the verandah. I loved the homemade cornbread. It had spinach and basil and I ordered seconds. I was introduced to the local wine which the English would say is very quaffable. I adored the homemade local dessert made with honey, ginger, and nuts. A must to try in Permet. There is parking right outside the hotel. The town is very close by and so are the thermal baths which we enjoyed. The owner gave me a bottle of Permet Merlot wine as a farewell gift. This is typical of Albanian hospitality and kindness. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming little gem at the entrance of the lovely old town with its cobblestone alleys and old houses. I have nothing but positive reviews on this guesthouse, the coziness the place offers, also the super clean room, the amenities, the smell of fresh wooden furniture, tranquility, and most of all the garden in which you could sit outside and have a nice cup of coffee just listening to the sounds of nature. Everything was perfect and i definitely will come back!

The hosts were truly hospitable and received us extremely well (even on a short notice). A special mention to the hosts’ daughter, that facilitated the entire process and also suggested some activities/places that we could visit in the area. The breakfast served was amazing, 10/10. The property was clean and very suitable for a group of 4.

Spacious, clean apartment with everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was SO comfortable and parking was available right outside the door. Not a long walk to the centre but in a peaceful neighbourhood. The owner showed us in quickly then left us be for the remainder of our stay, which we appreciated.
