Staying at Baven Toven is a very intensive and emotional experience as you get to merge with nature and lolcal culture. The location is exceptional, surrounded by mountains and greenery, close there`s a waterfall that no one should miss. The hosts are adorable and very hard working, they make you feel welcome and are at your disposal and its admirable the respect that they themselves have about the environement. The rooms are cosy, quiet and comfotable. To top it all there`s a small pool, right in the middle of nature, where only the sounds of crickets are heard. Idyllic place. Highly recommended.

The location is great, near the restaurant Mrizi and Zrave. A lot of farm animals around. Children and us enjoyed it very much. The host was a nice guy, living in front, brought us some local Raki, liquor, coffee and fruits. Very authentic and friendly

Beautiful location overlooking the lake, wonderful breakfast. Lovely restaurant. 5 minutes drive away. Wonderful walk with lots of really unusual crickets and wild tortoise! Frank was also so welcoming. A lovely man. We stayed here on route up North to Thethi so it was perfect for one night to break up the journey too.

Very nice little hotel owned by the family who greets you personally. The ‚lady of the house‘ also gave me some travel tips and advise and was really great to chat to! the room was simple, but clean and had all it needed to have. I also got a Great breakfast included in price. all in all - definitely a place I would stay again in!

The host family were beyond amazing. They were the kindest and most hospitable hosts I've ever had. They made us feel welcome and at home and made sure any need was met before we even knew we needed It. They showed us true Albanian culture and customs, with music and dance, shared historical stories about the area and made amazing wood fired food. Best hosts I've ever had. Adriat didn't speak much English so his daughter Aida translated and when she wasn't there we used Google translate which wasn't an issue. The location was breath taking. It was on the water nestled in the mountains, you can either take a short walk across a bridge or the hosts can come collect you with a boat. The food provided for every meal was organic and locally sourced which made every bite amazing. Local dishes and ingredients for every meal. We were offered coffee and Raki throughout our stay along with an endless supply of fresh mountain water. Very relaxing vibe which is what we were looking for to end our time in Albania. Options to take out kayaks or paddle boards were also there Best place we stayed at in Albania for sure.
