We loved our time at Samed Tamarind Beach Resort so very much - we had a villa with a sea view and it was just marvellous and peaceful. The villas are beautifully designed - with an especially luxurious bathroom! It was relaxing and heavenly. The staff were excellent, and always warm and they helped us with everything like taxis to the pier etc. The food was very good as well. Good breakfast! Samed Tamarind is tucked away in a quiet beautiful beach cove on the island - away from the hustle and bustle from the more popular beaches and shopping areas (all of which are easily accessible, however, should you want to explore, by walking or taxi). The hotel is also very well-equipped and prepared to repel mosquitos and insects and take great care doing so. Even if you aren’t carrying your own bug spray - they provide you with some in the room! You should carry it everywhere especially if you’re there during a wet season.

the hotel is located in a quiet place, very clean territory, has its own cove, there are stones but you can swim. the beach is 200 meters away. the houses are very clean, there is everything you need.

Property and its host were great. the resort is not right at the beach so it provides quiet environment from the traffic and bars. few steps away theres secluded beach that is great for a night walk. host was great and it is seen how much effort she puts in keeping the property well maintained clean and beautiful.

Beautiful area with a clean beach. I think it's perfect for a short stay if you don't drive a bike and aren't going to explore the island. Breakfast was included. Also, the staff was very helpful and friendly. There are some restaurants around where you can have a dinner.

I loved the location and how handy it was from the pier an the main beach, shops, restaurants… But the best of Sandaze is not the hostel but the owners!!!! They helped and guided me on every question I had. Golf and Holly made my days at Koh Samet, unforgettable!!!!
