Staff were perfect from start to finish. Organised a romantic dinner for her 30th birthday, surprised her with a cake and decorations in the rooms with staff singing happy birthday on arrival. The location is excellent with fantastic pool and very nice beach. Can not fault it enough, they need to build more rooms!!!!

Lovely place, everything you need. Close to the beach, shops and places to eat. Cheap and very cheerful 😄

I really liked the place and had a very pleasant stay, having everything that I needed (except sunshine, which obviously doesn't depend from the place). I wish Charlie and Chris the best of luck with this property!

The welcome, the attention, the staff, the cleanliness. Everything is very easy, nothing is too far, you are right on the beach, there is space by the pool and enough loungers for everyone. Breakfast was very good, home made bread, yogurt and muffins... It's a relatively small and the staff get to know you very quickly, it quickly becomes a very friendly place to be whilst remaining very professional. I would definitely recommend hiring a scooter for the stay. This a 4 star hotel with 5 star service, Sam and Jacquie have made the effort and it shows. We were grateful for everything.

The bungalow was very nice, very clean and very exotic. The shower is great. We stayed in a room without air conditioning but fan was enough. Nice porch. Nice facilities. Well manicured yard. 100m to the beach. Beach has rocks but you can walk 700m to beach with sand. Owner is very nice and very helpful.

Mellow Mango is truly a hidden gem—a fabulous sanctuary that is beautifully maintained and managed to perfection. Sabine and Johan deserve all the praise (and an award!) for creating such a magical place. Their exceptional hospitality went above and beyond, making our stay unforgettable. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the serene atmosphere to the immaculate upkeep of the property. We felt so welcomed and cared for throughout our time there. Loved absolutely everything about the place—highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful, tropical retreat. Thank you, Sabine and Johan, for such a special experience and going above and beyond for us!

The kind of place the expression 'heavenly' was made for. I don't say this lightly but I think this place is one of the most wonderful hotels Ive ever been to so much so we changed our booking and stayed longer. Im almost loathed to write this review as Im hoping to keep this place my little secret but everything about it from start to finish was beyond exceptional. From what was a very fortuitous last minute booking I consider myself to now be a 'loyal Layana fan' and am planning another trip or two back next year. This place has a very boutique personable relaxed vibe. You can tell from the moment they place the 'layana lei' on you this place is not a chain and is being managed to very high expectations & all is under the careful eye of the amazing Franck who is quite the holiday tastemaker! Everything has been thought about from start to finish- even at the airport you are taken care of! Make no mistake this place is high end and delightfully with none of the gauche that some high end hotels can sometimes have. Really outstanding. There is a very laid back, cool but without being pretentious vibe here - the staff are beyond wonderful & theres tasteful, beautiful decor everywhere you look. The hotel is in a lovely spot in Koh Lanta & has two gorgeous infinity pools overlooking the ocean- one is even saltwater. The rooms are big & very comfortable. We particularly loved the linens & the balcony & lovely gardens outside it was all so super peaceful. Great location too the hotel backs onto on a long white sandy beach with loads of little places to eat and get a massage along it if you want to venture outside (which we rarely did!) The food was really good here, we loved the menus & the breakfasts were fabulous theres nothing you cant get. Theres also a really great gym that was very 'Third Space' with lovely air con in case you need to work off the magnificent brekkie.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The staff was really nice snd helpful, helping me to organise transportation and they had really good laundry service. The pool is lovely especially since the beaches are not so great for swimming and there are many cheeky monkeys so I spend a lot of time at the pool and loved it. Great value for money, would always come again 😊

We highly recommend Baiyok House! It was close to the sea and many good restaurants/coffee shops! The staff was incredible and so so friendly and helpful. Baiyok herself is so sweet and kind and would do everything to make your stay memorable. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and the shared space is really nice as well. We also rented a scooter there and it was the best quality we have had so far in Thailand. Couldn’t recommend more!
