Amazing property, has everything you need and more. Very close to town and you can walk everywhere you want. Has a beautiful view of the ocean and a lot of rooms for a big family.

The apartment is located just by the historic fort, a city beach and the marina. It is right in the center of the old town, with restaurants and shops super close by and open till late. The apartment was very well furnished and very clean, cosy place ideal for families. A well equipped kitchen and washing machine made our stay stress free. The host Rita is wonderful and very friendly, she took great care of us and helped us organized our transport from and to the airport. A very engaged host that cares for her guests, we felt great.
In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Alegria Dream Home features a garden and a washing machine.

Beautiful property just up the road from the Botanical Gardens. Lovely and clean and equipped with everything required. Great views over Funchal and a short taxi ride (or bus - bus stop at door) up from town.

An excellent stay from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, thoughtfully equipped, and exactly as described, with a comfortable bed and quiet surroundings for a great night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the hospitality: the host kindly welcomed us very late in the evening after a delayed arrival, which made everything effortless. Check-in was smooth, and small touches—like clear directions and local tips—made a real difference. The location is convenient for exploring, yet it still feels peaceful. Johnny was there to meet us on arrival, I messaged from the airport to let him know we had arrived. It is was nicer than in the pictures on Booking.com if that is possible, we loved it and would be very happy to stay at this property again in the future. We arranged our taxis to and from the airport with booking.com both reasonably priced at circa £17 each way.
