Pretty much everything. The roof terrace for sunset drinks and the view. The historic details and the breakfasts in the hotel restaurant were fabulous. I was also spoilt since it was my Birthday with a bottle of Prosecco and a lovely card in our room.

Gorgeous and comfortable apartment in the old town. It had everything we needed and was super cosy. We were left a bottle of wine and snacks by the host. Communication was excellent.

Beautiful, stylish and well equipped apartment with amazing views over the river. Spotlessly clean. Great communication with owner/agent, entry is via key code so no need to carry keys around. Location is perfect, a short walk uphill to the University and a short walk downhill to restaurants, yet in quite a quiet location. (Note that it is on a steep hill so not ideal for those with mobility issues.)

The hotel lobby was beautiful and our room equally so. LOVED the concept of the marble books throughout the bathroom area. Bed - amazing. Pillows - like a cloud (as Lara promised!) Breakfast buffet was far beyond the basic pastries at other hotels; and the ability to order scrambled eggs was a real treat. And the food was so fresh and beautifully presented. And your staff provided the best customer service we ever experienced. Lara was so professional, yet warm and engaging, taking the time to answer questions about Coimbra and give us a short history about the hotel itself. Ana Jesus was also lovely; quick to help however she could.

We had a great stay at this place. Easy automatic check in. A small studio with everything that you need. Tastefully decorated, a comfortable bed with good bed linen. Well placed for visiting the surrounding town. We recommend
