In the reviews I read it said the hotel was like an oasis. I now understand why. It is magical! As we were being shown around, the only word I could utter was WOW! Beautifully and tastefully decorated, super friendly and attentive staff, a great location and an amazing breakfast - this is a hotel I will definitely return to. Already looking and it is fully booked for many dates. Don’t wait - book it now. You won’t be disappointed.

Maria´s Guest House was the right choice for our holidays and I can highly recommand it. We felt at home and really enjoyed not only the terrasse with view but also the perfect location which is in old town, 5 min walking from the beach. When you step out of the house you have many restaurants, cafes and bars right in front of you. Maria is a very friendly host who always took care of us and asked if we need anything. We had amazing holidays in Albufeira which we will remember. Thank you so much Maria!

This place was exceptional from the moment we arrived. We stayed in 5 different hotels while in Portugal….by far the very best. 2bedrooms, comfy beds, black out curtains to help sleep in. Full kitchen, refrigerator, dining table, and awesome TV in the living room. Easily recommend family of 4 would enjoy this location. Only 50 meters to the tourist / old town center but a very quiet apartment, and 5 minutes walk to the beaches. The host provides beach towels, sand mats, beach umbrellas. Washer/Dryer in the bathroom as well. And air conditioned in all rooms. Most importantly the hist, met us when we arrived, showed us around the apartment, answered any of questions with a smile and sincerity so rarely seen these days. And when we left, he travelled from his home to see us off and brought us figs for our trip. I’m coming back here again. Thank you SO MUCH for a wonderful experience. Superb location.Only few minutes to Old Town and beach.But still quiet and you can get a proper rest with amazing views.

The location in the Old Town was perfect for us. The apartment was really close to a little archaeology museum, short walk to the beach, great restaurants and bars. It was really clean and comfortable inside. Communication was really clear. We had an issue with hot water when we arrived, but phoned them, and it was sorted quickly. We stayed in Jan and it was fantastic value. There was a cute welcome package when we arrived.

I was on holidays in Albufeira from May 29 to June 2. Although I was initially concerned due to some reviews, I ended up being very pleased with my stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and customer-oriented, always ready to help. My room was quite large (situated on the 3rd floor, reception floor, offering views of the old city and the ocean). It had a refrigerator, air conditioning, and a safe (available for an additional fee). The room was clean and comfortable, and it was cleaned every day (contrary to some reviews claiming otherwise). The breakfast was really good, enough food to choose what to eat. Just a recommendation to add some vegetables. The location is really excellent! There are restaurants, bars, shops, and a pharmacy nearby, and access to the beach is just a three-minute walk from the hotel. Perfect! Regarding comments about the “mountainous terrain” and the “difficult climb to the hotel”: Albufeira is situated in a rocky area with lots of descents and ascents. If you have difficulty walking or have musculoskeletal problems, you might need to choose another city. As for noise, I generally can recommend everyone to have earplugs at any trip to avoid issues with sleeping. It's clear, that if you want to stay close to the city center, the beach, bars, and restaurants in a resort town, you should be prepared for its nightlife. If you are not, then better to choose a quiet family hotel on the outskirts of the city, where it will be peaceful, but you'll need a taxi to get to all the party spots. So, can say, that I was delighted with my holidays in Albufeira and this hotel. If I ever return, I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Breakfast was fantastic providing a massive range of food that was always available and hot. Location was brilliant - centrally located to everything.

Fantastic property that we have stayed at a number of times. Peaceful oasis in the centre of the old town. Breakfast outside on the terrace. Rooms super comfortable and clean. Minimal noise to say you are so close to the old square. Highly recommend
