The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were treated very well. We had a room in the Lodge and loved it. The shower was great, and the kitchenette was well supplied. Lots of nice towels and our room was serviced when we wanted. There's a laundry for guests
The view from our room was fantastic, overlooking a beautiful garden area as well as the soccer fields and the beach area. We were steps from 3 pubs, all a little different from each other, although we favored Smugglers because of its extensive options and a terrific lunch special. Close to everything anyone could need. Tahunanui Beach offers lots of activities for adults and children and only a short 5 to 10 minute walk away. Such a perfect location. Highly recommend staying here.

This motel is about 3 km from the main street in Nelson.
It was a self check in which i am not keen on, but this was too easy. Instructions were good.. Key under the mat.
I was in the rear accommodation, Driftwood.
The room was fantastic. Spacious, very clean. The bed was super comfy, the shower was nice and hot, and the kitchenette was ample. No cooktop , but the microwave was ok.
Parking was not quite outside the room but close enough.
Across the road was the pub, with fantastic meals and very reasonably priced.
I would highly recommend staying here.
