Everything! Warm welcome and a great room. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio and the kitchen was well-equipped and very clean. A filtered water tap and the dishwasher were added bonuses. Also the make-up mirror and heat lamps in the bathroom. Short walk to the Cathedral and city center.

Gladstone Motel is a 5 star property in Richmond. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast on request.

We are a family of three, parents with a teenager, staying here for two nights. Our room has an outdoor table and four chairs, so we had our take-outs in the second evening and enjoyed the fantastic panoramic view. The location is at the end of an uphill. It's very quiet. We really loved the atmosphere during sunrise and sunset.

Keep it simple with our classic studio, relax and unwind in the spa studio, feel at home in our garden studio or bring the family and stay in the king studios.

It was wonderful, the host was super kind, helpful and with great advices on what to do and where to eat . The place was quiet and calm. I would recommend this place at 100% ! And the breakfast was delicious.

Located 5 minutes' walk to the beautiful Tahunanui beach and 8 minute' drive to central Nelson, Apex Motorlodge offers an outdoor swimming pool.

Very impressed with the staff and facilities. Found the bed comfortable. Great location - accessible to many different areas - beach, local towns. Staff were friendly and helpful every time we saw them & always willing to help with any request.

The hosts ( owner / manager) were so welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The grounds looked very inviting as did the poor but we didn’t swim due to the poor weather. We will recommend this Motel to anyone visiting Nelson/ Richmond area.5 stars!
